Upcycled Postcard.

The introduction of Indian post card is equivalent to the mobile phones of today, and due to affordability, the use of Indian post card boomed. On July 1, 1879, first Indian post card was released with an imprinted stamp, featuring a side view of Queen Victoria.
A postcard which is sold for 50 paisa actually costs the government Rs 7, according to an RTI response from the postal department listing the costs incurred by it on such services which are proving to be loss-making propositions for it as per Report dated 19.6 2014.
However I received the following UP CYCLED Postcard for whish I had to pay DUE of Rs 9/.I was happy to lessen the burden by Rs 2/to the Govt.
UPCYCLED POSTCARD-
UpcycleThat.com defines this way: “The act of taking something no  longer in use and giving it a second life and new function.
In doing so, the finished product often becomes more practical,  valuable and beautiful than what it previously was.”

Thank you Heena for the new variety of Postcard for my collection.
