Postcrossing meet up card,Mangalore.
This meet up was hosted on the side lines of KARNAPEX -2019,a state level Philately Exhibition held on14.10.2019. Mr Mansoor Bolar, well known Postcrosser and Philatelist, was kind enough to send this beautiful meet up card which is special to me since I hail from the neighbouring district Udupi.
‘Mattu Gulla’ a variety of Brinjal grown only in village Mattu in Udupi had got the GI-Geographical Indication tag in 2011-12
Udupi Jasmine (also known as Shankarapura Jasmine), which was accorded a Gi-Geographical Indication Tag in 2008
