Postcard from Canada.

                                                   

                                   Changdeokgung Injeongmun Gate,South Korea.
Inscribed as UNESCO World Heritage site in n 1997
Serving as the main gate of Injeongjeon Hall,it wasbuilt in 1405 (5th year of King Taejo’s reign during the Joseon Dynasty). Later on, the gate was destroyed by multiple fires during Japanese invasion of Korea in 1592 and the current form of  designs  are more often seen in the late 19th century.
Injeongmun Gate served as the place for several coronation ceremonies of kings, prince's succession of throne, and many other  celebrations by the royal members .
