#621 Postcard from Australia.

Prunus serrula is a dainty tree that has pretty white flowers in early spring, but is mostly grown for its wonderful bark. This is striped, with pale ridges spaced by bands of what look like highly polished mahogany
Cornus sanguinea, has rich stems and wonderful, deep purple autumn leaves and the cultivated variety 'Winter Beauty' or 'Winter Flame' has all its robustness, with distinctly orangey stems.
Thank you Jenny for the interesting card and beautiful stamps.
