The postcard is about Hörnum-Odde in North Sea which is a dune and heathland on the southern tip of the North Frisian island of Sylt in the community Hörnum.The two-kilometer-long Odde has been protected since 1972 and is particularly threatened by tidal currents and storm tides due to its exposed location. The Hörnum-Odde has a high tourist significance.
