Climates of Burgundy vineyards,OR Les Climats du vignoble de Bourgogne France.

The climates are parcels of vines precisely delineated on the slopes of the Côte de Nuits and Beaune, south of Dijon. They are distinguished from each other by their specific natural conditions (geology, exposure, grape variety ...) that have been shaped by human work and gradually identified in relation to the wine they produce. This cultural landscape is composed of two elements: the first covers vineyard plots, associated production units, villages and the city of Beaune. This first component represents the commercial dimension of the production system. The second component is the historic center of Dijon, which materializes the political impulse given to the formation of the climate system. The site is a remarkable example of viticultural production developed since the early Middle Ages.
Thank you very much Claire for the nice heritage site card.
