Postcard from Finland.

The Capercaillie bird is the largest member of the grouse family, reaching over 100 centimetres in length and 4 kilograms in weight and found across northern Europe and Asia
They are not elegant fliers due to their body weight and short, rounded wings. While taking off they produce a sudden thundering noise that deters predators.
Glad to receive the nice card with beautiful stamp on Finnish Barn series from Ville.
