ONE CARD ON MAORI PEOPLE NEWZEALAND

Māori are the indigenous Polynesian people of New Zealand. They came here more than 1000 years ago from their mythical Polynesian homeland of Hawaiki. Over several centuries in isolation, the Polynesian settlers developed a unique culture that became known as the "Māori", with their own language, a rich mythology, distinctive crafts and performing arts. Today Māori make up 14% of New Zealand’s population and their history, language and traditions are central to New Zealand’s identity.
Thank you Vivienne for this beautiful card and stamp.
