Post card from U S A.

Oscar-Claude Monet, famous French Painter( 1840-1926) was a founder of French Impressionist painting, and the most consistent and prolific practitioner of the movement's philosophy of expressing one's perceptions before nature. In 1890 he bought a house in Giverny village near Paris and set out to create the magnificent gardens he wanted to paint.
Some of his most famous paintings were of his garden in Giverny,  with archways of climbing plants entwined around colored shrubs, and the water garden, formed by a tributary to the Epte, with the Japanese bridge, the pond with the water lilies, the wisterias and the azaleas.Received this card from Jan and John from Edmonds
