Postcard from Sudan.


Baobab Tree,Sudan
Baobab is the typical name of Adansonia digitata or the upside-down tree.. The tree that lives up to thousands of years
reach up to 30 metres in height and bears very large white flowers and a fruit that is 6 to 8 inches long.It is widely spread in Sudan.
In Sudan, the fruit pulp is eaten or used to make a popular juice and the seeds are grounded to extract vegetable oil.
Their fruits are full of nutrients and have triple the amount of Vitamin C oranges have and they have more calcium than milk. Ashraf sent this card.
