Melaka and George Town, Historic Cities of the Straits of Malacca,Malaysia

The legacy of the Dutch is still very much alive and felt in Malacca in a form of a red building called the Stadhuys. It was built in 1650 as the official residence of the Dutch Governors and their officers. Now it houses the Historical Museum and Ethnography Museum displaying fine bridal costume and relics from the glorious past of Malacca or Melaca.
Thank you Erica for the card.
