Wooden Churches of Southern Małopolska. Poland.

Built in 14th/15th century, Church of the Assumption of Holy Mary and St. Michael the Archangel, Haczów, Poland is the oldest wooden gothic church in Europe and  outstanding examples of the different aspects of medieval church-building traditions in Roman Catholic culture. It is built using the horizontal log technique, common in eastern and northern Europe since the Middle Ages.
Thank you Edyta for the beautiful card.
