Hotel Atlantic was opened in 1909. Since 1957 this grand luxury hotel on the shores of Alster Lake has belonged to the chain Kempinski, and is one of Leading Hotels in the World.
In 1997, parts of the James Bond movie "Tomorrow Never Dies" were filmed in this hotel.

The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park (PPSRNP) is one of the most important protected areas of the Philippines. It features a spectacular limestone or karst landscape with one of the most complex cave systems. It contains an 8.2 km long underground river that flows directly to the sea.
